My Favorite Podcasts

I really got into turning my car into a university back in my food & beverage days. There was a good four and half years that I drove every day all day from location to location. Listening to music got real old real fast. This is where I discovered self development! I started listening to free stuff on audible. Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohn, and Tony Robbins. This sent me down the road to educating myself through reading and, of course listening to audio.

My current Audible podcast list is pretty short but I wanted to share with you my favorites. Top of the list is The Goal Digger Podcast by Jenna Kutcher. I love her chill voice so that always helps. Her content is so on point at the moment for my life and where I am headed. She was and still is a photographer, however her business model does not include photography anymore. She talks about processes in her business, challenges in life and business and she brings on some really great contributors that ALWAYS bring value. Although my business is no where near the point of utilizing all her knowledge just learning about it will save me time and money in the future. Thank you Jenna Kutcher.

Second on that list is The Mel Robbins Podcast. I love her! Not only does she have this crazy awesome podcast but she has written some incredible books that are based on science. My favorite is The 5 second Rule. Really quick: this books delivers facts about how your brain functions and how it affects your daily life. If you or know someone that is a procrastinator, or perhaps wants to kick a bad habbit, go get this book! I use the 5 second rule in my life and with even with my kids. Now, back to her podcast….it is so darn informative. She talks about everyday life which makes this podcast relatable to EVERYONE. Nothing is off the table with Mel. The best part is that each podcast gives you a takeaway that you can implement in your life immediately. I learned sooooo much about perimenopause and menopause that I will be way more prepared because Mel took the time to bring on an expert to educate us…for free! She is really into the science behind the WHY. Add this to your list for sure!

Last but not least is The Online Marketing Made Easy Podcast by Amy Porterfield. Don’t the let the marketing bit scare you off. If you are building any kind of business this podcast will help you! She talks about how to scale your business, what tools she uses and how, and how to be a smart educated business owner. She teaches people how to build a successful online business from anywhere through online courses. She has a great book Two Weeks Notice that can help you discover a business that is right for you and how to go make it happen. I bought it even though I didn’t have a job at the time. The title doesn’t have to be where you are at in your life. She isextremely relevant and helpful in business and life.

I cannot recommend these podcasts enough! I love listening while I am walking, cleaning, folding laundry and even in those rare moments when I am in the car alone. Happy listening friends.
